How do I export my chat?

In WhatsApp, open the chat, tap the contact or group name at the top, scroll down and choose “Export chat”. Pick “Without media” and save the .zip. Then upload that .zip (or the .txt inside it) on the upload step.

Which files work?

WhatsApp exports as .zip or .txt, up to 4 MB. Images, videos and other file types are rejected. Exporting without media keeps the file small.

What happens to my chat?

The chat is read on our server to calculate your statistics and is sent to an AI provider to write your report. We store your e-mail, the statistics, a few message excerpts and the report. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your reports any time on the account page after signing in.
